Nullification is the idea that the states refuse to comply with or recognize the Federal government when it assumes powers not granted to it in the U.S. Constitution.
Washington and Colorado have now fully legalized the recreational use of marijuana. California and at least fifteen other states are nullifying Federal legislation that makes medical marijuana illegal. The number of states joining this list is constantly growing.
If nullification can work to undo unconstitutional Marijuana laws it can work to undo unconstitutional health care mandate laws as well.
