In the face of facts Piers Morgan speaks to emotion.
While emotions can and should lead us to question ourselves and our society, emotions cannot make our decisions for us. If the media can stir the emotions of enough people in one direction and to the point where they will act out of that emotion, then the propaganda has taken hold and the government can assume more power.
Let’s not forget the emotional outcries from the media, based on little fact, brought us to war with Iraq. Should we let those same outcries strip us of our natural right of self-defense?
